At Katica London, we create more than just decorations we create keepsakes. Rooted in British tradition and guided by values of handmade, creativity and conscious living, our fabric chains, mini buntings and bunting banners are designed to be reused and treasured for years to come.  

Story time...
Katica is the founder and at home crafter behind Katica London, a brand inspired by a simple past time decoration and social activity called 'paper chain' making. 

In 2023, when my partner and I were planning our first Christmas together I handmade fabric chains (do not ask me how long this took) along with an array of Christmas family ornaments and decorations. This nostalgic experience brought back happy childhood memories, making paper chains to decorate our primary classrooms.
As we talked about up holding our family Christmas traditions and estsblishing our own, the moment took even more meaning. 

That Christmas was the first of many to come and by 6th January 2024, we found ourselves discarding most of the commercial paper hanging decorations due to their single-use nature, despite the initial appeal. In contrast, the handmade fabric chains remain in excellent condition and we're easy to store away for the next year. This experience highlighted value of practical, high-quality, reusable decorations and with clear insight helped shape the ethos of Katica London.

At Katica London, our mission is craft premium decorations that can be reused for many years to come, across various occasions, season and ultimately a fun and creative activity for everyone to participate in. 

We are committed to sourcing materials for our decorations from fellow independent businesses within London. We believe this practice of insourcing supports local economy and if specific items are unavailable locally, we will opt to purchase from other companies across the U.K.

As we grow, our vision is to establish Katica London as the choice for innovative and sustainable celebration decor while offering a distinctive, simplified aesthetic that evolves from the past while continually expanding our collection with care, creativity, and purpose.
